The renowned linguist and experimental psychologist Steven Pinker – a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University
explains how the mind turns the finite building blocks of language into infinite meanings. This is from the RSA’s free public events program  

Steven Pinker has published several critically acclaimed books include “The Language Instinct”, “How the Mind Works”, and “The Blank Slate” – all of which will be reviewed here at some stage. I have read and loved all of them…just need to find the time to write reviews 😉
